An association of Caribbean states established in 1973 to further economic cooperation, coordinate foreign policy, and provide common services in health, education, and communications. The members are Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, St Christopher and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.
